Susanna holds a Master of Occupational Therapy Practice from La Trobe University and has been practising as an occupational therapist since 2017, bringing around nine years of experience to her work. She began her career in residential aged care, carrying out transfer and mobility assessments and developing a lasting interest in supporting older people.

She later moved into community care, working with NDIS participants and Home Care Packages, and now Support at Home. This experience has given her a practical understanding of these funding schemes and how assessments, equipment and home modifications fit within people’s care and support arrangements.

Her experience includes supporting adults living with stroke, Parkinson’s disease and dementia, as well as people with mental health needs.

Susanna continues to develop her practice through professional development and workshops, keeping her equipment knowledge current. She accompanies clients through equipment trials, considering everyday use, comfort, function and the home environment when making recommendations.
